Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team while ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process. Roles & Responsibilities: -Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark. -Write efficient and reusable code in Python for data transformation and automation tasks. -Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). -Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions. -Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data processes. -Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues. -Document technical solutions and maintain best practices for data engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: -Strong proficiency in Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL. -Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus. -Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing concepts, and big data technologies. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Strong communication and collaboration abilities. -Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git). -Knowledge of Delta Lake, MLflow, or other Databricks ecosystem tools. -Experience to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a bonus. -Experience with RDBMS – Oracle SQL/PL-SQL is a big plus Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
