Our team builds and supports data analytics, reporting, and custom application solutions for engineering, SRE/XRE, Product, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

We work across data platforms, cloud, backend services, APIs, dashboards, and web portals, with a strong focus on converting complex data into actionable insights and usable solutions. The team also works on AI-enabled analytics and GenAI-assisted development, using modern tools and approaches to improve delivery speed and user experience.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Data Analytics and Application Development who can independently design and deliver end-to-end analytics and application solutions.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience across data platforms, SQL, Python, AWS, APIs, visualization, and web application development. The individual will work directly with stakeholders to understand business problems, interpret data, and rapidly translate requirements into scalable dashboards, portals, applications, automation, and analytical solutions.

The role also requires strong ownership, stakeholder management, and the ability to use GenAI and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business and engineering requirements and translate them into scalable technical and analytical solutions.
• Design and develop data analytics solutions, dashboards, web portals, applications, APIs, and automation tools.
• Work hands-on with SQL, Python, Redshift/Snowflake/Postgres, AWS services, and modern web technologies such as React/Angular.
• Build and enhance data pipelines, backend services, frontend experiences, and visualization solutions using Tableau/Power BI or custom interfaces.
• Own solutions end-to-end, including design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
• Drive time-sensitive requirements with speed, independently turning ambiguous asks into usable solutions with minimal guidance.
• Apply GenAI/LLMs and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and accelerate solution delivery.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and provide a strong user experience.
• Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, manage priorities, communicate risks and progress, and support planning and execution.
• Provide technical guidance, code/design reviews, mentoring, and proactively identify opportunities to improve or redesign existing solutions.

• 8+ years of relevant proven experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics application development, or a related area.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python, including working with sophisticated datasets and building scalable analytical solutions.
• Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or similar data warehouse/database platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, API Gateway, CloudFront, ECS, or equivalent cloud technologies.
• Strong experience in web/application development, including APIs and frontend technologies such as React/Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building dashboards, analytical applications, and visualization solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or custom interfaces.
• Working experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, testing, and production-grade software development practices.
• Proven ability to independently gather and articulate requirements, understand the underlying data and business context, and convert ambiguous needs into working solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, including interaction with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to own time-sensitive deliverables end-to-end and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal guidance.

• Working knowledge of Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-enabled analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to improve development productivity.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, or LLM-based analytics/application use cases.
• Experience designing reusable frameworks, self-service analytics capabilities, or internal developer/analytics platforms.
• Exposure to observability, monitoring, production support, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization for data or application platforms.
• Experience driving modernization or redesign of existing applications/analytics solutions and introducing innovative approaches.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers, influencing technical direction, and contributing to technical roadmaps.
• Strong product sense and UX awareness, with the ability to connect technical solutions to user adoption, usability, and business outcomes.
