In this role you will design, implement, and optimize comprehensive data warehousing solutions on the cloud, maintain robust data systems and craft and optimize a versatile platform that will empower our organization to operate efficiently and effectively.
Role Overview:
The Data Engineer & Platform Architect will be responsible for building and managing data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and designing a comprehensive platform that integrates various data sources and tools. This role requires a blend of technical expertise , strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset to support the organization's data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Pipeline Administration & Development:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all data pipelines.

Platform Architecture:

• Develop and maintain a unified data platform that integrates diverse data sources and tools, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.

• Create a platform that supports both real-time and batch processing needs of the organization.

Data Platform Administration & Management:

• Oversee data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing solutions.

• Optimize database performance and manage data storage and retrieval efficiently.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights and solutions.

• Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to ensure platform integration and functionality.

Platform Enhancement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve the data platform's architecture, scalability, and performance.

• Implement new technologies and tools to enhance the platform's capabilities.

• Relentless focus towards improvements in CI / CD processes and platform stability and scale.

Documentation & Training:

• Develop comprehensive documentation for data processes, platform architecture, and best practices.

• Provide training and support to team members on using the data platform effectively.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure data compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Implement and enforce data security measures to protect sensitive information.

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science , Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience as a Data Platform Administrator , Platform Architect, Google cloud administrator or similar role.

• Experience with big data technologies . BigQuery and SnowFlake preferred and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). A certification in Google Cloud is a huge P lus.

• Infrastructure as a Code ( Ia a C ): Knowledge of tools like Terraform YAML is preferred

• Proficiency with either Google BigQuery and / or Snowflake preferred.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data processing languages and tools.

• Tableau server and Tableau Pulse administration is a plus.

• Strong understanding of data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.

• Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
