Job Description:

This is an outstanding opportunity to join our world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. We are looking for a motivated Data Quality Analyst. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will have an important role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data quality assessments and validations to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement data quality scorecards.
  • Monitor and provide updates on metrics related to data quality.
  • Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and team members to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Apply Experian Aperture Data Studio to improve data quality and support business needs.
  • Maintain documentation of data quality processes and improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support data quality initiatives and projects.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on standard methodologies for data quality.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Experian Aperture Data Studio or other data quality systems.
  • Good understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Understanding of data management principles and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in data quality analysis or a related role.
  • Certification in data quality or data management (preferred but not required).
