The Role
This role will give you a challenging opportunity to contribute to an innovative data product as a Data Quality Engineer of our core engineering team. You will be joining our highly-productive engineering team, thriving work culture through individual growth, well-being, strong ethics, and entrepreneurial approach.
As a Data Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality of customer facing analytics platforms and the accuracy of the data. You will be part of the QA team of a dedicated Squad/team. Your day-to-day work would comprise - Identify, scope, and resolve data quality problems and determine the measures to enhance quality. Set quality standards, build test-cases, and build procedures to run or automate them along with the 'Data Quality' team across Squads.

Responsibilities & Required Skills
- ETL & Data Testing: Strong experience in ETL testing, including validating data pipelines, data transformation logic, and processing large volumes of data.
- Strong experience in writing clear, detailed, and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, including good knowledge of test design techniques.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (hands-on coding skills required).
- Strong expertise in API testing (tools/frameworks of your choice).
- Hands-on experience with web automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Experience in database testing / SQL, especially for data quality and validation use cases.
- Experience in processing and validating large volumes of data and testing data pipelines.
- Ability to develop or contribute to internal tools for data quality automation.
- Experience in creating dashboards for data quality measurements, KPIs, and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers to explain bugs clearly and ensure quick resolution.
- Ability to work with product teams to understand requirements, clarify expectations, and suggest improvements.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
- Knowledge of other programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python (good to have).
