Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and key insights.
- Design, code, and maintain parts of the product and drive customer adoption.
- Work with structured and unstructured (text) data, performing extensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering.
- Develop and validate statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world business problems.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Utilize Python and relevant open-source libraries for data processing, visualization, and predictive modeling.
- Run and fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for NLP tasks (preferred but not mandatory).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and product development.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science).
- Strong programming skills in Python (including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with text data processing (e.g., NLP, regex, tokenization) is a plus.
- Prior exposure to open-source LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong scripting and test automation abilities
