Synopsis of the role

Join our Banking and Lending Analytics group as a Data Scientist, where you'll play a pivotal role in Building Custom Risk models, Validating the Risk models and doing in-depth Customer oriented tailored Analytical solution. Collaborate with teams to Build, validate, and enhance AI and ML models that serve the needs of our clients and help consumers live their financial best.

What you’ll do

• Build various Custom and POC models on different data assets.

• Use different AI/ML techniques like Logistic regression, XGB and Neural networks model to see the better lift

• Create model development data (Understand Target variable, Observation window and data biasness)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve model performance, interpret results, and provide actionable insights.

• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex data sets.

• Contribute to the design and execution of model development and QA processes.

• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines related to Credit Risk models

• Collaborate with a team of innovative data scientist to identify areas of Model building that can be automated and develop solutions to increase efficiency and quality

What experience you need

• Understanding of key business and risk KPIs for retail banking products.

• 3 years’ experience in handling BFSI analytics/Risk models/GCP

• Credit risk modeling development experience is a must.

• Python/SQL coding experience is a must have technical skill.

• Retail Banking Products modeling development experience is good to have.

• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools.

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Highly analytical with experience of working in teams.

• Self-starter with high energy levels and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• In-depth business & risk understanding.

• Adaptability to work in project- based engagements across different kinds of banking clients.
