Role Overview:

The Data scientist will have practical experience in Marketing Mix modeling projects. This individual contributor role involves minimal team management responsibilities and requires close collaboration with onshore stakeholders to develop, optimize, or execute existing code for MMx. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to get project requirements.

  • Create new MMx code or customize and execute existing process.

  • Optimize the results in accordance with business logic, in coordination with stakeholders.

  • Present the results for final discussion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5 to 7 years of overall experience & 3 to 4years hands-on experience in data science with a focus on marketing analytics and MMx modelling.

  • Proficiency with Python and Spark/SQL, ability to create MMx process flow from scratch.

  • Knowledge of US pharma datasets (Xponent, DDD etc.) will be preferred.

  • Basic familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint to present results
