Role Overview:
You will work in a fast-paced environment where we are responsible for the most critical systems. Our external teams ( Customers ) count on us to keep their MySQL database running and we are vital to the success of their business. You will troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to the DB system's availability and performance. You will develop relationships with customers, comprehend and fulfil their needs, and maintain their satisfaction through regular communication and engagement with their environments.
Responsibility :
The major focus is on handling all the alerts in MDS MySQL.
Optimising the complex SQL Queries.
On-Demand Query Optimization.
Monthly Query optimization assigned ( based on customer list ).
Get into Client calls on Performance issues and other tasks.
Reaching the DBE-2 and DBRE's for escalations.
Assisting and mentoring the ADBEs.
Efficient troubleshooting using MySQL MDS Internal tools
Writing the technical and process documents.
Managing the client-based operations documents to ease scheduled & repeated tasks for the database engineering team.
