DB and ETL Developer (SQL, SSIS and SAP BODS)
Overall Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled DB and ETL Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database systems and ETL processes. You will work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other IT professionals to ensure data is efficiently and securely processed, transformed, and loaded into target systems.
Technical Skills:
Database Development:
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of databases, particularly Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience in creating tables, stored procedures, functions, and indexes.

ETL Development:
- Proven experience in creating SSIS packages to load data from one server to another.
- Experience with SAP BODS ETL tool to create CSV/XML reports.
- Basic knowledge of Data Lake concepts and technologies.

Scheduling and Automation Tools:
- Experience working with Control-M or similar job scheduling tools.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in database development and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS, and SAP BODS.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, stored procedures, functions, and indexes.
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to facilitate data movement between servers.
- Utilize SAP BODS ETL tool to generate CSV/XML reports.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL processes to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement and maintain job schedules using Control-M or similar tools.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in database development, ETL tools, or data management are a plus.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
