Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and Sustain Processes: Support CoC to establish and implement the FTA and DFA process in the context of ISO 26262 Functional Safety. Support Continuous Improvement on DFMEA process to identify potential design failure modes, assess their impact on product performance, and prioritize areas for improvement. Train Team Members: Support CoC lead to conduct training sessions and develop training materials to educate team members on these processes, ensuring a thorough understanding and its effective application in product development. Review Work Products for conformance: Regularly review work products to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with the latest industry standards and internal best practices. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts in the process to improve product quality, reliability, and safety along with other stakeholders.

Knowledge You Should Bring (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of DFMEA, FTA, and DFA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
  • Excellent training and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • 2+ years of experience in Safety Analysis Methods.


Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • 2+ years of automotive or Truck product development experience
  • Hands-on DFMEA, FTA and DFA experience
  • Automotive E/E system knowledge
  • Prior experience in applying ISO 26262 Functional Safety
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, FTA software tools like IQ-FMEA, Isograph, Datalyzer or similar.
  • Project Management and technical paper writing skills
