About the Role

Arctic Wolf Networks is looking for a Developer - Test Automation to help us revolutionize the way that network security is delivered to businesses. Our hardworking team is passionate about building a cloud-based solution that will solve the real world security problems that IT professionals face. You will be responsible for automating quality control for some of our key internal software used by the security services team.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Work with team members to understand existing manual test processes 

Augment and create software frameworks to support test automation 

Develop tools to provide Infrastructure-as-Code to enable automated tests 

Deliver end-to-end automated test frameworks that integrates with API-driven microservices architecture 

Integrate automated test frameworks with existing CI/CD technologies 

Work with team to define and document testing best practices and workflows 

We value a culture of sharing, so every team has the opportunity to share their work with the entire department during our monthly R&D Demos. Once a year we hold a department-wide Hackathon, teaming up across all R&D teams over four days to collaborate and build cool ideas outside the normal project scope. While innovation is the focus, some of these ideas do make it into our products.

About You

You enjoy solving technical challenges. You work well within a highly collaborative and functional team. You love taking a manual process and automating it to save time and increase reliability.

You are not required to be an expert in any of these, but you should be excited by the opportunity to learn new things and comfortable with coming up to speed quickly. Exposure to automated test infrastructure in a cloud environment, computer networking and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies are an additional asset. You’ll receive all the security training you need during our onboarding process and through additional training on the job.

In addition, you may have demonstrated leadership experience from previous projects, regardless of title held. Even if you haven’t worked with all of our specific technologies, you bring a diverse knowledge base that you use to help the team solve complex technical problems. You have comprehensive knowledge of software development practices, and mastery over writing and debugging code.
