Your Role

As a Software Engineer – Middleware, you will:

• Dream up and bring to life DevOps environment, setting up and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that software updates are tested and deployed quickly and reliably.
• Investigate, prototype, & deliver solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
• Monitor system performance and tackle any challenges that arise
• Design and develop software components that set new standards for DevOps Automation.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software
• Work with product management and cross-functional teams to build and ship technical solutions for the best customer experiences

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years’ experience with CI/CD tools, like Jenkins
• Experience with scripting languages, like Python, Bash, Groovy
• Experience in Yocto Build ( or Vx Works Build )
• Fast and creative to find solutions in a complex system architecture (cloud, onboard, online)
• Keen sense of ownership & lots of enthusiasm for solving challenging problems, curious learning new things
• Ability to drive innovation and passionate about new technologies
• Masterful communication and interpersonal skills
• Platforms: Linux
• Domains: Infotainment Systems, Embedded Systems, Telematics/Connectivity, ADAS, OTA, Edge Computing Devices, & Middleware
• Experience with Windriver Studio would be a big advantage.
• Familiarity within cloud environments ( AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) & Cloud native technologies (microservices, Kubernetes, APIs, etc.),
• Managing individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead
