Solvative is looking for a DevOps Engineer who comprehends the Software Development Lifecycle and has in-depth understanding of the various automation tools for developing digital pipelines. At Solvative, the DevOps Engineer will work with the developers and the IT staff to oversee the code releases. The DevOps Engineer must have a passion for scripting and coding and move into the development side where they can improve the planning of test and deployment.
Exp-1-3 yrs

Responsibilities:

The DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for:

  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.

Skills & Prerequisites:

  • Entry level work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Good knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
  • Should have knowledge of Docker.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure as code and configuration management tool like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools. 
  • Basic understanding of web servers, firewalls, SSL and web security.
  • understanding of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Should be familiar with AWS cloud platforms. Certification would be a plus point.
  • Should be well versed in Linux systems.
  • Good to have knowledge of Advanced Networking.
