Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Collaborate with development team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of tasks and processes.
- Employ tools like Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing applications and managing them at scale.
- Communicate with development teams on how to resolve security and compliance risks identified as a part of CICD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
- Provide support and guidance to development teams on best practices for DevOps and automation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the DevOps processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 7+ years of proven IT experience, with a minimum of 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in DevOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cribl, Splunk, Open Telemetry, etc.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents effectively.
