What You Can Expect
- As a design director, you will be responsible for developing next generation high speed ethernet products and its adjacencies.
- The role will require the candidate to understand and work on all aspects of VLSI development from micro architecture, front end design, and design convergence.
- The candidate is expected to manage IP dependencies, planning and tracking of all front end design related tasks
- Driving the project milestones across the various IPs, own the design checklists
- Be responsible to mentor and train the team
- Manage the engineering resource allocation.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
- Have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
What We're Looking For
- 25 years of relevant industry experience in Semiconductor design & development
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, show initiative, collaborate and communicate effectively with team members across functions & cultures.
- Experience in all phases of front end design
- Prior experience in leading/developing IP, subsystem, Chiplets and SOCs
- Understand & appreciate the complexity of high speed logic design & prior experience with successful silicon proven tape outs.
- Ability to recruit and retain engineering talent.
- Demonstrated mentoring of junior staff
