About the Role:
As Director of Engineering, you’ll lead a team of managers and senior engineers in developing cutting edge data analytics products. You’ll be hands-on with architecture, design, and development, driving projects from 0 to 1 while aligning with customer needs and business goals.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a team of managers and senior engineers to build Gen AI/ Applied ML, Data Analytics, or
platform solutions from scratch.
Be hands-on in architecture, design, and development, ensuring scalability and
performance.
Navigate uncertainty, prioritise features, and drive projects towards clear goals.
Focus on customer-centric development, ensuring solutions meet user needs.
Foster a growth mindset, mentor engineers, and ensure best practices.
Collaborate with product and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and
execution.
What You Have:
15+ years in tech, with 10+ years in leadership/technical roles.
Strong in architecture and design for complex systems.
Experience building 0 to 1 solutions in Gen AI / Applied ML, Data Analytics, or
Platform Engineering or Large Scale Backend Systems.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and managers (40-50 people).
Strong problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
