Director, Engineering Leader - Digital Assets

The Purpose of Your Role

FFIO Technology is seeking a technically fluent and highly motivated professional for the FFIO Digital Assets technology team in India.  This individual will lead a team of skilled and motivated engineers and work very closely with others on the digital asset technology team, in addition to the broader FFIO technology teams to contribute to the FFIO Digital Asset platform for Tokenization and Crypto Products. The associate would need to have a thorough experience in Engineering and Agile practices along with Stakeholder management. You will be the link between engineering and delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a complex, large-scale environment. We differentiate ourselves by aligning to the enterprise priorities and having deep domain understanding while providing an objective view to business partners. Our goal is to generate significant value through enhanced operational efficiencies, cost efficiencies, risk reduction, and quality improvement.

The associate is expected to have been a Fullstack Engineer with technical knowledge of different areas but not limited to AWS Cloud, Application Development using Java/J2EE and Blockchain related technologies. A thorough knowledge of CI/CD processes would be an added advantage.

The Skills that are Key to this role

• 15+ years in software design, development and delivery of large enterprise grade modern distributed applications.
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying blockchain-based solutions, particularly in the Investment servicing or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms (e.g., Proof of Work, Proof of Stake) and their implications for Fund Operations Management.
• Expertise in blockchain technologies, including but not limited to Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Binance Smart Chain
• Strong hands-on experience in working on key initiative and green-field Engineering projects Strong understanding of Engineering Practices like Code Review, Branching Patterns, etc Global Stakeholder management and Strong Communication skills
• Hands-on experience with Jave-J2EE and cloud technologies (AWS EC2, S3, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, AWS Batch, Lambda, Elasticsearch)
• App Development using Java related technologies
• Strong knowledge of data access on blockchain via APIs
• Streaming and Messaging technologies
• Authentication frameworks
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Experienced in ALM tools like JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git Added hands-on experience with Blockchain, UI and/or DB technologies will be an advantage AWS certification is good to have

• Intellectually curious and has a strong learning mindset
