Job Title: Director, HR Operations  

Location: India 

Position Overview: The HR Operations Director will be responsible for establishing and leading a Global HR Service Center, overseeing a team of professionals based across Europe, the US, and India. This role will drive operational efficiency, implement standardized HR processes, and ensure compliance with regional employment laws and company policies. The successful individual is a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, independently motivated, and has the confidence and ability to interact with and influence stakeholders in a professional, approachable, and positive manner.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Directs and manages (direct or dotted line) HR operations team members across several global offices  
  • Design, build, and operationalize a Global HR Service Center based in India, serving the HR needs of a global workforce. 
  • Lead and manage a cross-regional team of HR professionals located in Europe, the US, and India. 
  • Develop and implement standardized HR policies, procedures, and workflows across all regions. 
  • Oversee HR operations functions, including employee lifecycle management, HRIS administration, reporting, and compliance. 
  • Collaborate with regional HR leaders to develop, recommend, and implement employee policies aligned processes with local laws, regulations, and cultural expectations. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and service delivery. 
  • Manage HR technology platforms and ensure optimal utilization of HR tools and systems. 
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics and service-level agreements (SLAs). 
  • Serve as a key advisor on HR operational matters to senior leadership. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 10+ years of experience in HR operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Proven experience building or scaling a shared services model in a multinational organization. 
  • Strong understanding of global HR processes, compliance, and employment laws. 
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams. 
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
