We are looking for a Seasoned Engineering Director to join and lead our ZIA team. You will drive technical strategy, set engineering standards, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with Operations and Support to ensure a healthy cloud and exceptional customer outcomes. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, ZIA, you'll be responsible for:
- Driving a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed
- Evangelizing the product vision internally and externally. and be able to represent the company, product, and team at all levels
- Work closely with the product management organization to develop and deliver on roadmaps
- Recognizing process and product gaps early and able to drive changes to achieve better outcomes
- Keeping the product delivery and quality bar high, prioritizing Service stability features along with Innovation and Platform features
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 15+ years of experience in highly technical roles in development or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startups
- Domain expertise in the area of Secure Web Gateway and L4-L7 Proxys
- Strong knowledge of distributed software product architectures, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), and monitoring solutions
- Experience with high performance network and security platforms
- Understanding of scalable datapath systems

- Successful track record leading teams to deliver highly distributed solutions using multi-language ecosystems
- Strong GTM and business analysis skills
