EFR - SOX PMO Specialist
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

In the Finance and Corporate Strategy team we ensure that the business’s capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. What you’ll do:
Financial Controls Assurance

Review of complex processes across HPE to ensure alignment to USGAAP accounting.

Identify risks and ensure that the controls are designed effectively and assess the adequacy of the control environment including new processes and changes to existing processes.

Supports/leads in policy and process improvement opportunities.

Coordinate with Internal Audit and EY on the certification of the SOX controls and audits to meet organization objectives.

Partner with Business for effective remediation of all issues identified.

Review of adequacy of SOX environment (Business Process Controls, Application & ITGCs) and governance process at HPE level.

Work closely with Business process owner, IT, EY, and IA for defining DFD (Data flow diagram) to document end-to-end process/data flow
Analytics and review

Support the monthly Quality Assessments of complex account reconciliations and Journal Entries to drive compliance and controls globally.

Provides reporting of complex, financial analysis relating to results of quality assessments to facilitate reviews and drive expected business outcomes.

Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.

Provides analytic support to business initiatives.
Education and Experience Required
An advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)) is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of finance work experience within the Technology Industry, preferably in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.

Prior experience in VISIO is an added advantage.
