Role Summary: We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer (1 Year Experience) to contribute to the end-to-end development of our next-generation hardware systems. You will be responsible for executing robust circuit designs, collaborating closely with senior architects, and helping take hardware components through the full product lifecycle from prototype to testing.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design & Review: Create, simulate, and refine schematics and PCB layouts, participating actively in design reviews to ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate closely with Firmware and Mechanical teams to ensure hardware requirements and spatial constraints are seamlessly integrated.

  • Architecture Implementation: Assist in executing the hardware system architecture, focusing on stable power distribution and reliable high-speed data routing under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging hardware trends and electronic component availability to help improve engineering practices across the department.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of core experience in hardware design, with a background in Robotics, UAVs, or Aerospace preferred.
  • Schematic & PCB Design: Proficiency in multi-layer PCB design (4 to 6+ layers) using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or KiCad.

  • High-Speed Interfaces: Practical familiarity with routing and designing for interfaces such as USB 3.0, MIPI, CSI, SPI, and basic memory architectures.

  • Power Systems: Solid understanding of designing power delivery networks (PDN), buck-boost regulators, and fundamental Battery Management Systems (BMS).

  • Validation & Debugging: Hands-on experience with hardware debugging, signal validation, and using lab equipment like DSOs, Multimeters, and Logic Analyzers.

  • Manufacturing Basics: Familiarity with bringing a prototype through testing phases, including basic knowledge of DFM/DFT (Design for Manufacturing/Testing) and EMI/EMC compliance guidelines.

  • Tech Adaptability: Ability to leverage modern AI tools to enhance productivity in design documentation, component sourcing, and troubleshooting.

Benefits
  • Work on cutting-edge AI and drone technology that pushes the limits of what's possible.

  • Fast-track your technical career by working alongside a high-talent engineering team in a scaling startup environment.

  • See your designs take flight—literally—in products serving enterprise and government sectors.

  • Attractive salary package with performance-linked incentives.

  • Work directly with an expert team in the heart of Bengaluru's tech hub.
