The Sr. Embedded Test Engineer/Test Lead is responsible for developing and implementing various test plans and strategies, performing impact analysis, and contributing to test automation efforts. This role includes leading test engineers and ensuring compliance with quality processes in the project.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement Test Plan, test strategy, test cases, test reports for various testing like unit, regression, functional, performance, etc.
- Independently perform impact analysis and recommend effective test methods for the project under test
- To work towards test automation and standardization of test cases and test scripts
- To facilitate and participate in test plan reviews and to contribute effectively
- Lead Test Engineers / Sr. Engineers
-Ensure project compliance with Quality processes
Qualification / Skills :
- 7+ years experience
- Hands on experience on black box testing, white box testing experience desirable.
- Basic knowledge of analog/digital hardware, C and Assembly and scripting language, configuration management tools. Quality Process knowledge is added advantage
- Good computer skills along with an understanding of basic hardware.
