Join our dynamic team as an Engineer II, Software Quality Assurance at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate software solutions, execute test strategies, and contribute to automation initiatives. Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements related to Salesforce implementations and integrated applications.
  • Validate Salesforce customizations, including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, Process Builder, and system integrations.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing to ensure application quality and stability.
  • Execute manual test cases, identify defects, and document issues with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts using the TOSCA Automation Framework.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test execution, test environments, and automation scripts.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and support root cause analysis activities.
  • Maintain test documentation, test results, and quality metrics to support project and release objectives.
  • Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation activities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience testing Salesforce applications, including customizations and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools, preferably TOSCA.
  • Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Basic understanding of API and integration testing.
  • Exposure to CI/CD processes and automated testing practices.
  • Salesforce platform knowledge or related certifications.
  • Experience working with enterprise business applications and cloud-based technologies.
