Job Title: Solution Architect (Teradata) - 10+ years of experience
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with extensive knowledge of Teradata to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, designing robust and scalable solutions, and driving the implementation of data solutions leveraging Teradata technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design end-to-end solutions using Teradata technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to gather requirements and define the technical roadmap.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
- Define and implement data modeling and database design strategies using Teradata.
- Conduct code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable and reliable architecture for deploying Solutions on Teradata platforms.
- Mentor and train junior developers on Teradata best practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Data engineering
- Extensive experience working with Teradata, including data modeling, database design, and performance optimization.
- Proven track record of architecting and implementing enterprise-scale Solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in working with large datasets.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
