 Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with customers and memory enablers to attain design wins and qualifications of Micron memory products in their applications.
• Provide technical support to customers and the field sales force. Support includes applications advice, product recommendations, and technical problem resolution.
• Visit and/or contact memory enablers and production customers to determine their needs for new products and/or features.
• Work with factory marketing and applications engineering to determine the feasibility of specific new products, packaging, or features.
• Provide product training to the field sales force, distribution salespeople, customers, and enablers.
• Work with marketing and factory applications engineering to review and responding to product specifications and technical questionnaires submitted by customers.
• Identify and communicate the needed Marketing Communication literature (e.g., product guides, cross references, advertisements, etc.) 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of ~10 years sales experience in semiconductors, ideally in IT Hardware channel, PC hardware ecosystem and or Memory & Storage industry
• Experience of working with Ecosystem partners, System Integrators, VARs and Distributors.
• Experience of selling to strategic enterprise and corporate clients. Knowledge of Storage system Architecture/Design. Knowledge about Server & Storage Industry ecosystem.
• Ability to define architecture, account strategy, and align solutions to the overall Micron direction. Systems experience, which could include:
  • Client Systems hardware architecture, design, test, and troubleshooting
  • DRAM / SSD architecture in systems / solutions
• Data Center Server Management would be a plus. May include Design and test experience in one or more key Micron market segments such as wireless, computing, consumer, or networking. This can include system design, debug, and test; and experience managing multiple accounts.
• Should have prior technical sales experience of managing channel sales, local OEMs, SI & VARs in the PC hardware ecosystem.
• Have excellent English skills, both oral and written.
• Strong relationship building and clear communication skills.
• Job requires travel frequently on business and regular in city local travel.

Education

Required: BE/BTech : EE or ECE.
