Job Purpose
Cordros Capital Limited needs a Finance a Analyst who is responsible for a wide range of activities including, maintenance of accruals schedule, transactional Tax computation and remittance,etc. We need someone who has experience in stockbroking and asset management finance operations, one who is passionate about this role, consistent and patient.


Responsibilities   

  • Maintenance of fixed asset registers
  • Computation of depreciation on fixed asset
  • Maintenance of accruals schedules
  • Maintenance of prepayment
  • Transactional tax computation and remittance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, ITF and NSITF)
  • Response to tax queries and audit
  • Reconciling of intercompany ledgers
  • Monitoring of account receivables from customers and other subsidiaries  
  • Reconciling investment schedules and identifying the income.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly net liquid capital returns
  • Daily call-over of transactions and postings
  • Posting and approving transactions ledgers and customer accounts
  • Processing of payment to both customers and vendors
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation

Job Requirements

Education 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or any other related discipline.
  • A Second Degree and/or Completion of Relevant Professional Certification like ICAN/ACCA will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of Three (3) - Five (5) work experience in Finance

Key Knowledge and Skills    

Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:

  • The use of Microsoft Excel

  • The use of Accounting Software (e.g., Symplus, etc.)

Skills
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

  • Analytical skills

Work Cycle
