Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to join our team. This role combines deep financial expertise with functional implementation capabilities, focusing on delivering end-to-end solutions using modern DevOps practices and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead functional design and implementation of D365 F&O solutions, with particular emphasis on financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expense Management, Tax and Financial Reporting

- Configure and customize financial processes, workflows, and business rules according to business requirements

- Architect and develop custom solutions and integrations within the D365 F&O platform

- Document complex business report requirements for delivery by third parties

- Manage solution deployment and release management using Azure DevOps

- Provide functional leadership in agile project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews

- Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues across the F&O platform

- Mentor junior team members on functional best practices and financial process implementation

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 F&O or AX2012 across the globe

- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements

- Proven experience with Azure DevOps, build and release pipelines is a bonus

- Proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and Power Platform integration

- Experience with agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery

Functional Skills

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or AX2012 (minimum 5 years)

- Azure DevOps

- SQL Server

- Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

- SSRS/Financial Reporting

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication skills with both functional and non-functional stakeholders

- Ability to translate complex financial requirements into functional solutions

- Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management

- Strong project management and organizational skills

- Proven ability to work effectively in agile teams

Qualified candidates should demonstrate a strong combination of functional expertise, financial acumen, and project delivery experience within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
