Oversee accounting, taxation, audit, financial reporting, compliance filings, budgeting, policies, and financial controls. Manage accounting and taxation staff, coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, company secretaries, and other departments, and present financial insights to senior management and the Board. Ensure accurate records, regulatory compliance, timely statutory filings, and achievement of financial targets.
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Accounting, Taxation & Audit functions of the organization. They will ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, and provide financial advice and guidance to the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
- Manage all aspects of the organization's accounting and taxation functions, including financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and Monitor the Standard Operating Procedures of the organization w.r.t Finance and ensure compliance with the same.
- Manage a team of accounting and taxation professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Ensure that all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and secure.
- Ensure timely Filing of various returns, GST, TDS, PF, PT and other relevant filings.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans, agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and ensure that financial targets are met.
- Coordinate with External Auditors to ensure compliance with audit and tax requirements.
- Coordinate with Company Secretary to ensure compliance with secretarial and MCA related filings.
- Coordinate with Lawyers and advisors to ensure compliance w.r.t legal and other related requirements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and Board of Directors.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the senior management team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience in accounting and taxation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax regulations, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Accounting software(Focus, Tally, Zoho), Excel, and other financial tools.
