About the role
Manage function costs for respective Global function and provide Finance Partnering support to Senior VPs and VPs in managing their budgets, actuals and ad-hoc requests. This role would be in Bangalore, GCC India and would report to Senior Finance Partner – Global Functions.
Key responsibilities

Manage OPEX for the respective Global Function, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance.

Provide support to the Senior Finance Partner in identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks.

Drive cost consciousness, increasing engagement and skills development amongst budget holders.

Lead the preparation of the Long range plan, Annua Business Plan and Latest Estimates for the respective Global Function.

Analyse financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.

Build collaborative and trusted working relationships within key stakeholders in the function and across finance that ensure successful finance partnering. Good interpersonal skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the business.

Provide support to the Sr FP Global Functions by proactively identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks.

Execute financial control responsibility and support any internal and external financial audit processes by working in close collaboration with Auditors.

Produce monthly reporting packs, according to prescribed month-end timelines.

Engage with Local Finance / Business Teams as may be necessary to resolve any challenges that may require specific expertise and drive any such challenges to solution.

Complete other ad-hoc or transformational projects as required.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
MBA or Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).

Experience in financial controlling, financial reporting or financial audit roles (at least 10+ years) with a deep understanding of management reporting and financial planning.
-
Experience in finance business partnering with non-finance business stakeholders.

Experience working in cross-functional teams.
-
Experience of financial analysis, forecasting, planning and decision-making support.
-
Demonstrated ability to drive a continuous improvement mindset.
