- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
- Architect distributed systems, APIs, and microservices capable of supporting rapid product growth.
- Build secure, high-performance backend infrastructure with a strong emphasis on reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Define engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development workflows for the team.
- Optimize application performance, database efficiency, and system scalability.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend integrations with internal and third-party services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform stability.

- Proficiency with Docker, containerization, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of caching, message queues, and background job processing.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of system performance, scalability, observability, and security principles.
- Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging platforms.
- Experience working with AI/ML-powered products or data-intensive applications.
- Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time systems.
- Previous experience as an early engineering hire or in a startup environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7–14 years of professional software engineering experience with significant backend development expertise.
- Proven experience building production-grade applications from concept to scale.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
