The FP&A Analyst, Hardware Solutions for Cytiva is responsible for forecasting, reporting, and analytics for the newly formed Hardware Solutions OpCo. The individual, as a member of the Hardware Solutions FP&A team, will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our financial processes and is expected to embrace contemporary digital finance capabilities.
This position is part of the Hardware Solutions Finance team located in Bangalore and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Responsible for closing, consolidation, and reporting of month-end results, providing in-depth analytics and commentary to senior leadership
- Support monthly forecasting processes across Hardware Solutions business units and consolidation of the annual budget; act as a challenge function to business unit finance leads when consolidating and pacing financial performance
- Enhance/own monthly FX reporting and analysis
- Drive standardization of financial reporting and process improvement across all business units of the HWS business
- Drive daily management through weekly and monthly bowlers covering key financial and operational statistics
- Support key Hardware Solutions FP&A initiatives (OneStream enhancements, enhanced reporting, simplification initiatives)
The essential requirements of the job include:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or equivalent knowledge or experience
- 3+ years of demonstrated financial expertise through prior work experience
- Solid PC skills: experience with financials systems/applications (Hyperion, Oracle), strong excel skills
- Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions, work in a collaborative style
- Strong analytic skills: proved ability to use large sets of data, identify trends & drivers and summarize into key takeaways and actions for the senior leadership team
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Previous experience within FP&A with exposure to forecasting, close reporting, and the annual budgeting process
- Awareness of, and understanding of key Danaher Business Systems (DBS) concepts and tools
