Become a member of the CFO Organization’s Transformation team at Palo Alto Networks! We
are seeking a highly motivated Finance Transformation Analyst with a strong background in
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes who is excited to join a high growth,
Company. The role will provide the opportunity to work alongside FP&A Leadership to optimize the structure, improve forecasting accuracy, enhance governance, and build scalable solutions for future growth. The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of the project life cycle for Finance software Tableau/SAC/Anaplan, exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to deliver game changing business outcomes.
Your Impact
- Collaborate with business organizations (Entity and Regional Controllers) to assist in the implementation of process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement projects. Support FP&A-related system implementations
- Identify and drive improvement and efficiency opportunities within current FP&A
- processes and solutions through current or future technology capabilities like Tableau, SAC, S/4HANA, Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Execute Finance Transformation projects, governance, and development of process documentation and training materials
- Develop and execute system testing to properly account for FP&A functions (includingTableau, SAP S/4HANA, SAC, etc.)
- Conduct multiple User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch validations to ensure seamless system implementation
- Develop project updates and internal communication within the organization and present information in cross-functional meetings by using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making
- Understand structural Governance of Master Data and its linkage to other drivers and attributes
- Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively
- Analyze complex ideas or points of view and build a range of practical and meaningful recommendations
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive experience managing projects and process improvements within the FP&A cycle, with 2+ years of experience with Finance Transformation related experience preferred
- Good understanding of software development life cycle with expertise in Planning and Execution of User Acceptance Testing
- Ability to build relationships across multiple functions, and manage and implement new processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and execute assignments with accuracy and efficiency
- Proven extensive technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), as well as thorough abilities utilizing Google Suite
- Experience with financial systems, SAC, Anaplan, S/4HANA, SAP ERP ECC & RAR,BI, Blackline, Tableau, and SFDC are preferred
- Experience with high technology companies in the Hardware, Software and/or SaaS space is a plus
