Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces, and a keen eye for design. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to build responsive and high-performance web applications.This role requires strong creativity, design skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient frontend code using React/Next.js
Collaborate with UX designers to design & implement visually appealing and user-centric designs
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs and provide feedback on design improvements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and other services.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role with 3+ yrs of experience.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and Tailwind CSS.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Familiarity with Git for version control.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with NextJS.
Experience with Playwright for automated testing.
Experience with running experiments and tracking analytics with Amplitude.
Experience with Sentry for monitoring and detecting errors.
Experience with web performance optimization techniques.
Understanding of accessibility best practices.
