Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a critical member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our payments web applications to ensure a seamless user experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using ReactJS.
Implement and manage state in React applications using Redux or Context API to ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
Write unit tests and perform functional testing to ensure code quality and robustness. Conduct browser testing and debugging to optimize performance across different browsers.
Work closely with designers, backend developers, Product and other stakeholders to translate requirements and mockups into fully functional features.
Accurately convert design files (e.g., Figma) into responsive and interactive React components.
Identify bottlenecks and improve performance to ensure fast load times and smooth user interactions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards in front-end development.
Must-Have skills
7+ years of experience in frontend development at a product organization, with B2B fintech experience, is a significant positive.
Must have 5+ years of development experience in ReactJS, Scss/Sass.
Strong understanding of state management in React using Redux/Context API.
Experience in writing unit tests and functional testing in React.
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
Excellent communication skills.
Good-to-Have skills
Hands-on experience in converting design files (like Figma) to React components.
Knowledge of other modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
