At Bolna AI, we're building the Voice AI stack that Indian enterprises run in production - 250K+ daily calls, 1,500+ paying customers, 10+ Indian languages, growing at 15% MoM.
We raised $6.3M led by General Catalyst. Now we're doing something different.
We're standing up a Zero to One team: a small, independent unit operating inside Bolna but with a completely fresh mandate - identify the biggest unsolved problems in India's enterprise Voice AI market and build the company that solves them. Not a feature, not a services arm. A new business, built on top of Bolna's platform, infrastructure, and hard-won learnings.
We need the person who builds it technically. The de facto co-founder and CTO of this unit.
Our team is composed of IIT alums having worked at Bain, Atlassian, Zomato and are backed by top investors including General Catalyst.
Build whatever the problem demands
- Your technical intuition will shape what's feasible, what's defensible, and what's worth building
- Once the direction is set, you own the full technical stack end-to-end : architecture, build, deployment, iteration
Ship fast and learn faster
- Get working prototypes in front of customers quickly
- Debug failures in real usage, not staging environments
- Make architectural decisions you can defend but are willing to throw away if the problem shifts
Use Bolna's platform as your foundation
- You have access to Bolna's Voice AI stack: multi-language ASR, TTS, LLM orchestration, real-time telephony, 10+ Indian language support
- Build on top of it, extend it, and work directly with Bolna's CTO on the gaps
Operate like a founder, not an engineer
- Take customer calls, understand what they're actually trying to do, and come back with something that works
- Own the technical narrative in customer conversations and with the team
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of full-stack experience - backend, frontend, infra, you've experienced all of it
- Startup DNA: you've built in environments where requirements come from customers, not tickets
- Fast at picking up new systems, reading docs, and shipping something the same day
- Strong product instinct - you build for the outcome, not the spec
- You want to be a CTO or founder eventually, and understand that the path there is through building real things for real customers
- BONUS: Experience with voice AI, telephony, real-time systems, or LLM pipelines
- Closest thing to a CTO co-founder role with a running start: You have Bolna's full Voice AI platform, infrastructure, and engineering culture behind you from day one
- Build something that could become its own company: If the unit works, this isn't a job you look back on. It's a chapter in a founding story.
- Technical depth that compounds: You'll build for India's most demanding enterprise environments and come out the other side with skills and judgment that are genuinely rare
