Software Requirements
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.
- Experience with developing and maintaining Java-based applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud computing platforms.
- Proficient in using development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React) is a plus.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Java developers and ensure the high-quality delivery of software.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based applications and systems.
- Design and implement solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
Backend:
- Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate/JPA.
- Microservices architecture, RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Frontend:
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React (nice to have).
DevOps:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
Testing:
- Unit, integration, and system testing.
- Test automation frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
Experience:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Java development.
- Proven experience in leading a team of Java developers.
- Previous experience in delivering Java-based solutions for large enterprises.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement new technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in Java development (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer) are highly desirable.
