Müller’s Solutions is seeking a talented Google Cloud Engineer to join our innovative team. In this position, you will focus on designing, implementing, and managing our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and services. You will work to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our applications hosted in the cloud while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives and enhance our cloud capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage GCP resources, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and other related services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Google Deployment Manager.
  • Oversee the configuration and management of virtual private cloud (VPC) networking and shared services.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and operational processes.
  • Monitor and optimize GCP performance, including resource utilization and cost management.
  • Implement robust security practices across GCP resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Integrate GCP services with existing systems and applications through APIs and cloud functions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline workflows and support development processes.
  • Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, and best practices guidelines.
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues and enhance system performance in the GCP environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, specifically within Google Cloud Platform.
  • Deep understanding of GCP services, including App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Golang, or Java.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and security practices in cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration and presenting technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer) are preferred.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar services.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver or Prometheus.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices.
