The HR Manager will handle recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, and ensure compliance with labor laws in India.

Summary:
As the HR Manager – India, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment and HR operations for systemsGo India. This is a hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and supporting business growth through effective talent acquisition and people management. The role will primarily focus on India operations, with ad-hoc support to other APAC entities as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Working with the India Country Manager and hiring managers to identify hiring needs and support workforce planning.
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including developing job descriptions and job postings.
- Sourcing candidates through multiple channels to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Screening candidates by reviewing resumes and conducting initial interviews.
- Coordinating interviews, managing communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Supporting offer preparation and coordination in line with internal approval processes.
- Ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Maintaining and continuously improving recruitment processes, tools, and reporting.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Managing employee onboarding, orientation, and exit processes in alignment with company policies and culture.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, documentation, and HR files.
- Updating and maintaining organizational charts based on joiners and leavers.
- Collaborating with managers on employee training and development plans.
- Supporting performance review processes and related HR activities.
- Collecting employee feedback and collaborating with managers to improve engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Coordinate regular and ad-hoc team building and engagement activities.
3. HR Operations & Statutory Compliance
- Managing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring consistent execution of HR processes and controls.
- Setting up, managing, and maintaining the HRIS (BambooHR), ensuring accurate employee data and effective self-service functionality.
- Ensuring compliance with India labor laws and employment regulations.
- Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring payroll, tax, insurance, and statutory contributions are completed accurately and on time.
- Liaising with external payroll vendors, company lawyers, and local labor authorities as required.
- Managing visa and work permit arrangements where applicable.
- Ensuring all HR policies, processes, and statutory requirements are followed.
4. Regional Collaboration
- Support additional HR tasks, projects, and initiatives as assigned by the India Country Manager or management team.
- Provide HR support to other APAC entities when required.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR operations and full-cycle recruitment.
- Strong understanding of India labor laws, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred).
- Active and organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-oriented with a strong service mindset and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in common office IT tools, particularly Windows, Outlook, and MS Office.
- Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
