This Position reports to:

Workday Reporting Lead – Global People Analytics
 

As a HR Operations Reporting Specialist in People Analytics team, you will be working with business leaders and HR community to leverage advanced analytics and insights to create business strategies in areas of Talent Performance and Culture.

Reporting to the Team Lead or Global Head of People Analytics, you will be responsible for delivering global projects helping to shape the future of ABB.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with team to solve complex business problems using advanced data analytics and reporting
  • Extract data and reports from various HR systems like SAP and Workday, use data to supply analysis and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Use data to develop tactical statistical models to understand business opportunity and improvement areas. Understand the SDLC and automate ETL process for specific needs, own the quality checks and on time delivery of all reports
  • Build reporting and analytics solutions from scratch, and have a strong bias towards creating clean, powerful, user-focused visualizations to deliver actionable insights and analysis. Technologies used could vary from Power BI, Advanced Excel, VBA, or any other new technologies
  • Interact with Global ABB leadership to seek and provide meaningful and actionable insights in all interactions. You are expected to be constantly on the lookout for ways to enhance value for your respective stakeholders/clients
  • Execute strategic projects to help ABB drive excellence in people, performance and culture. Willingness to learn and implement the learning in an innovative manner.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills required to work in a global virtual work environment: self-starter, self-motivated and able to work with specific, but minimal direction

Your background

  • Candidate should possess “Can-do” attitude with excellent quantitative skills, with an ability to work on large datasets. He / She should be able to generate actionable insights from data analysis that translate to valuable business decisions for the client.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in consulting/ shared services/ software development with strong data analysis techniques
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skill and can build story with fragmented data
  • Zeal to learn new technologies and continuous improvement
  • Highly proficient in MS office with excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate and partner effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to multitask to deliver to cross-functional teams
  • Workday reporting and analytics knowledge will be an added advantage
