About WizCommerce

Wholesale distribution is a $10T+ industry — and most of it still runs on fax, spreadsheets, and legacy ERPs. We're here to change that.

WizCommerce is the AI Operating System for B2B Trade. We build AI-native commerce solutions that sit on top of the ERPs distributors already use — no rip and replace, no 12-month implementations. Just real transformation, fast.

Our platform combines an AI-native CRM, B2B website builder, embedded finance, and AI co-workers (order entry, quoting, content) into one unified system built for how wholesale actually works.

The results speak for themselves:

• 180% Net Revenue Retention

• 4X YoY ARR growth

• 400% growth in customers with >$50K ACV

• 95% implementation success rate (vs. an industry average of 30%)

We serve 150+ customers across North America — from Jaipur Living to Loloi — and we're a fast-growing team backed by Peak XV Partners, Blume Ventures, Alpha Wave Global, and others.

If you want to build category-defining software in a massive, underserved industry — with a team that has genuinely lived the problem — WizCommerce is the place to be.

Role Overview

We are looking for an HR Ops — HR Operations to own and run the day-to-day HR operations engine at WizCommerce. You will be the go-to person for everything that keeps the employee lifecycle running smoothly — onboarding, HRIS, documentation, compliance, payroll coordination, employee queries, audits, and policy execution.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who loves building structured, scalable processes and genuinely cares about the employee experience. You will work closely with the  Finance and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure every employee touchpoint — from offer letter to exit — is seamless.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Onboarding

  • Lifecycle Ownership: Own end-to-end onboarding for new hires across India and other geographies — offer rollouts, documentation, BGV coordination, induction scheduling, and first-week experience.

  • Documentation: Manage employee records, employment contracts, addendums, transfer letters, promotion letters, and exit documentation with zero errors.

  • Lifecycle Events: Execute confirmations, role changes, internal transfers, and exits in line with policy and timelines.

HRIS, Data & Reporting

  • HRIS Administration: Own and maintain the HRIS (e.g., Zimyo) as the single source of truth for all employee data.

  • Data Hygiene: Ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and timely updates across all employee master data, org structures, and reporting lines.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and publish HR dashboards and recurring reports — headcount, attrition, tenure, diversity, cost centres — for leadership and finance.

Payroll, Benefits & Compliance

  • Payroll Coordination: Partner with Finance and external payroll vendors to ensure accurate, on-time monthly payroll, including inputs, reconciliations, and Form 16 / tax declarations.

  • Benefits Administration: Administer group health insurance, GMC/GPA, leave policies, and employee benefits programs (FlexiPay) end-to-end.

  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with applicable labor laws — PF, ESI, PT, LWF, S&E, POSH, gratuity, bonus — and support statutory audits.

  • POSH: Serve as the POSH Committee coordinator; ensure timely training, refreshers, and case documentation as required by law.

Policy, Process & Employee Experience

  • Policy Management: Draft, refine, and roll out HR policies; maintain the employee handbook and ensure it stays current and accessible.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks — automate, document, and standardize wherever possible.

  • Employee Helpdesk: Be the first point of contact for employee queries on HR processes, policies, payroll, leaves, and benefits. Resolve with empathy and speed.

  • Engagement Support: Plan and run engagement touchpoints — birthdays, work anniversaries, new joiner kits, R&R, internal communications — in partnership with the People team.

Audits, Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Audit Readiness: Lead internal and external HR audits — ISO, SOC 2, statutory, and investor due diligence — with complete documentation readiness.

  • Cross-functional Partnership: Partner with IT, Admin, Finance & GTM on cross-functional workflows — asset issuance, access provisioning, exit clearances, and FNF.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors — payroll, insurance, BGV, HRMS, statutory consultants — and drive SLA adherence.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations, preferably in a high-growth SaaS, tech, or product company.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliances (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, POSH, S&E Act, gratuity), and payroll processes.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one modern HRIS.

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/ XLOOKUP, dashboards. Comfort with HR analytics is a strong plus.

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a track record of running tight, error-free operations at scale.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a clear policy, draft a sensitive email, and explain payroll to a confused engineer.

  • High ownership and bias for action. You don’t wait to be told; you spot gaps and close them.

  • Discreet, trustworthy, and empathetic — you handle sensitive employee information with the seriousness it deserves.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a globally distributed workforce (US + India) or working with international payroll/benefits.

  • Exposure to setting up or scaling HR Ops in an early- to mid-stage startup (Series A–C).

  • Familiarity with automation tools — Zapier, Make, Slack workflows, or in-app HRMS automations.

  • Certification in POSH, Labor Law, or HR Analytics.

Why WizCommerce

  • Build Something Real: Help build the People Ops backbone of a category-defining AI x B2B Commerce company.

  • High Ownership: Work directly with senior HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders — your work is visible and impactful from day one.

  • Growth Trajectory: We are growing fast across India and the US. Your career can grow at the same pace.

  • Strong Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary, ESOPs, comprehensive insurance, learning budgets, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
