Climate Collective Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting climate tech startups. We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of 60 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges.
We work with a large portfolio of climate tech startups, supporting them in measuring and communicating their climate impact to investors and clients. To enable this, we’ve developed practical, easy-to-use impact measurement tools focused on both climate mitigation and adaptation & resilience—built in collaboration with leading ecosystem support organizations (ESOs) and climate-focused impact investors.
We’ve also contributed to the broader ecosystem through knowledge products such as a Climate Metrics Guide for Small and Growing Businesses with the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs and climate impact -focused startup case studies, in collaboration with Prime Coalition.
As we expand our in-house impact measurement toolkits across multiple climate tech domains, we’re looking for a professional who can help drive this next phase of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in research and critical analysis of impact frameworks and tools
- Work closely with startup founders to understand business models, define impact boundaries, and identify relevant metrics
- Develop and customise impact assessment tools (primarily in MS Excel) for startup use cases across sectors
- Coordinate with clients, partners, and collaborators, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Maintain detailed meeting notes and translate discussions into actionable insights for project tracking
- Assist the team in planning and managing events, training sessions, and workshops
Requirements
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, or related fields
- Strong understanding of climate change, mitigation, adaptation & resilience, and impact metrics
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience in climate impact metrics
- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and climate investing landscape would be a bonus
