Seedstars Programs consults multilateral and bilateral organisations, governments, and private sector foundations on customized interventions and financing solutions for small and growing businesses (SGBs) in emerging markets. Our goal is to create thriving entrepreneurship ecosystems and generate positive social and economic impact in the global south and developing economies. 

We support our clients in:

  • Developing entrepreneurship ecosystems (insights and advice on policy, finance, culture, support infrastructure, human capital, and markets) based on our proprietary Seedstars Index.
  • Designing and co-creating customized interventions and implementing programs based on the segmentation of businesses and their specific needs.
  • Setting up innovative development finance facilities and managing capital flows (VC & Equity program funds, Convertibles, Catalytic finance instruments, Impact linked finance, blended finance, result or revenue-based finance, loans, mezzanine, grants, etc.).
  • Measuring and managing the impact of programmatic interventions.

The majority of our projects are sustainable development goal (SDG) driven and tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges like climate action, gender equality, migration, and financial inclusion.

About the Program

SEED (Seedstars Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Development) Inclusivity is a comprehensive entrepreneurship intervention that is designed to provide support to entrepreneurs with disabilities and disability-supporting businesses through capacity-building, access to financing pathways, ecosystem development, and engagement with key stakeholders in Asia.
About the Opportunity

In line with our mission to impact people’s lives in the emerging market through technology and entrepreneurship, we are seeking ambassadors to support us in driving forward an inclusive pan-Asian entrepreneurship ecosystem development program. 

Ambassadors are self-starters and dot connectors that facilitate connections and provide support on diverse activities ranging from planning and organizing local events, opening doors to potential partners, to actively contributing as a speaker or expert lending insights and providing hands-on mentorship. 

This is an unpaid ambassador opportunity. 

Collaboration Areas 

Community mobilization 

  • Help raise awareness for the program, amplify visibility, and solidify program positioning. 
  • Leverage your network and capture referrals to support sourcing entrepreneurs with disabilities, businesses supporting people with disabilities, and diverse ecosystem actors. 
  • Support community growth by engaging Seedstars online and offline communities. 
  • Facilitate connections to local players and support with networking.

Financing partnerships 

  • Provide guidance and introductions to establish strategic partnerships with financial institutions, investment funds, grants, and impact investors.
  • Support our team in uncovering new prospects for beneficiaries for impact-driven partnerships.
  • Facilitate matchmaking sessions.
  • Create multiple pitch opportunities to investors, partners, and industry experts.

Mentorship 

  • Provide hands-on, tailored mentorship for entrepreneurs and startups. 
  • Facilitate mentor matching. 
  • Schedule regular check-ins with teams, providing feedback and evaluations to ensure they are meeting milestones. 
  • Work alongside our team in designing and delivering a rigorous and objective selection process.

Program Implementation

  • Work alongside our team in designing and delivering a rigorous and objective selection process. 
  • Participate as a jury member and provide expert evaluation.
  • General operational support in program planning, execution, and reporting.

Your profile 

  • You are passionate about the solutions being created for entrepreneurs with disabilities and businesses supporting people with disabilities.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in a fast-paced environment where things are not fully defined. 
  • You can work well alone but are also an amazing team player. 
  • You are knowledgeable about the startup ecosystem in your country or region or a local entrepreneur or innovation enthusiast.
