The role will focus on designing, developing, deploying, and supporting microservices and event-driven applications on Azure. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Java/Spring Boot development, and the ability to implement and optimize solutions using Azure services for integration, messaging, observability, and resilience. Roles & Responsibilities Develop and deploy Java-based microservices (Spring Boot) in Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, and AKS. Implement event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus (queues, topics), Event Hubs, and Event Grid. Create and manage workflows using Azure Logic Apps and serverless functions with Azure Functions. Configure and expose APIs through Azure API Management (APIM). Work with Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Cosmos DB for application persistence. Implement data storage and messaging patterns using Azure Blob Storage, File Storage, Queues, and Tables. Set up monitoring, logging, and observability pipelines with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry).
