Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is a 100% subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH . Established in 2009, in Naganathapura - Bengaluru, RBAI is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector. RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Body Control Modules (BCM), ECUs for ABS, DC-DC Converters, iTraMS (Intelligent communication control unit) to name a few. RBAI also produces products for eMobility like MCU (Motor control Unit), C-Box (Communication Box), VCUs (Vehicle Control Unit), Central gateway modules and is geared up for other futuristic products. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manufacturing feasibility study of the new product with the detailed analysis of DFA and DFM methodology collaborating with simultaneous engineering team.
- Analysis of data / pictures from different optical inspection systems (Solder paste inspection, solder joint inspection SMD, solder joint inspection selective soldering)
- Ability to work with different HW and SW (user interfaces)Analysis of log files for better performance / output
- Find a focus from products with bad performance for optimization / improvement
- Improve the efficiency of machine,improve first pass yield
- Plan,develop and procurement of AOI Machines. Define process parameter for AOI machines
- Technical discussion with supplier for RFQ of new AOI Machines
- Pre acceptance of Machines according ordered specification , Final acceptance of Machines at plant after installations
- Support for maintenance and operator training.
- Perform capability study of process and calibration for AOI camera
- Prepare the detailed technical specification for AOI machine in alignment with Bosch global standards.
- Work closely with the supplier during equipment development and Assembly of line
- Review, implement improvements suggestions for specific process.
- MAE delivery as per project schedule
- IDC and utilization as per target
- Support related to AOI for launch of new products as per project schedule
Qualifications
6+ Years relevant experience in Electronics manufacturing industry. BE/B. Tech – in Mechanical Engineering /Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering

Technical competencies required
- Good understanding on electronic product manufacturing ( in SMT and Final assembly area) in automotive sector
- Good knowledge on Manufacturing processes like Soldering IPC standard requirements
- Good knowledge on component Soldering failures
- Knowledge P- FMEA, 8D,Quality tools
- Knowledge of CAD software, Team center and SAP
- Good knowledge in design and engineering (products, jigs, fixtures….) Very good level of understanding 2D drawings. Able to imagine fixture and jigs and to sketch concepts.
- Able to work in international teams
