Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Representative
In this role, you will:
- Perform a variety of operational tasks for routine and medium complex institutional trades that require general knowledge of unit functions and systems
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve process specific goals
- Review time sensitive document
- Support audit requirements within the process
- Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department
- Interact with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedure
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve process goals
- Execute tasks and perform activities as per direction from leaders and understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- 2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Candidate should have strong knowledge about SWIFT standards and their message fields in MT202, MT103, MT 202+103, MT202+202.
- Should have knowledge about FX Products like SPOT, FORWARD, SWAP, Money Market, etc.
- Candidate willing to work in night shift and work over weekends & US off's
- Co-ordinate with on-shore business partners and working closely with them to resolve all issues.
- Ensuring by EOD all the queues are cleared.
- Domain Knowledge should be in FX market, Trade life cycle, Payment Methods, Clearing House for Routing FX Payments.
- Sound & Strong Knowledge of FX Payments & Settlement process and trade life cycle
- This profile is highly interact with external clients like corporate, banks, traders, middle office.so candidate should have excellent process and product knowledge
- Excellent analytical skill and Language proficiency
- Strong ability to communicate in written/verbal form
- Ability to work to strict deadlines/under pressure and maintain calm manner
- Accuracy & attention to detail.
- Customer Focused skills.
- Microsoft Office - proficient on Excel, Outlook, Word.
- Ability to work as a team player and as an individual.
- Excellent email and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance preferable
- 1+ years of experience in the FX operations settlements background preferably
- Ability to demonstrate effective analytical skills /decision making skill.
- Energetic individual that works well under pressure in a team environment with demanding deadlines
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and also formulate plans to effect positive change within a team environment
- Able to analyze and interpret data from both statistical and efficiency standpoints
