- Primary responsibility of this role is to develop integration services using IBM MQ on premise which includes supporting all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), facilitating integration on-boarding, and assisting with product enhancements and production support.
- This opportunity will allow you to work cross-functionally with Architects, Developers/Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers across multiple teams in a rapidly evolving environment. To be successful in this role, you must be an organized, self-starter with stellar collaboration and communication skills, who can work independently building relationships and driving technical solutions from inception to completion. This position requires the candidate to be technically savvy and have a proven ability to work well in a highly dynamic environment while maintaining strong relationships
- Develop and maintain integration services using IBM MQ.
- Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.
- Custom develops monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Participates in defect and incident root cause analysis.
- Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.
- Design and implement Streaming solutions on confluent Kafka platform.
- Integrate Kafka connectors with various data sources.
- Hands-on experience on Linux / Unix environments.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of recent and related experience as an MQ Integration Engineer from Design through the Implementation of technical solutions
- 1+ years of experience with Kafka
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to provide clear communication to senior management on issue identification and resolution.
- Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
- Must be able to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
- Oral/Written fluency in Other Non-English languages
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily works in an office environment.
- Open to hybrid mode
- Must be able to work effectively with North American and India based extended teams.
- Job requires working at a computer and video display terminal more than 75 % of the time.
