About the role

This role will be our Integration Manager for Middleware & B2B in the Haleon Tech organization, within our CTO – ERP Management organization.
Integration provides global services to Haleon application users that need to exchange information, both internally and externally, connected through a range of standard interfaces, software and messaging protocols across the ERP and non ERP landscape. 
The Integration Manager for Middleware & B2B directs all aspects of lifecycle service delivery for various on-premise and SaaS Integration applications. The Integration Manager shall lead a team of integration specialists to oversee operational support processes and direct on analysis of functional requirements, preparation of solution designs and delivery of new interface development through to technical implementation. 
The Integration Manager develops and enforces technical standards for Integration designs, configurations and implementations, ensuring compliance with Haleon Procedures and Policies as well as audit and validation requirements. The role is responsible for delivering high quality support services to business customers and maintaining currency, resiliency and performance of Integration applications. This includes working directly with 3rd party vendors for specific products, or SaaS Services.
They will need technical expertise in the areas specific to the product domain they are working. They will also be accountable for technical artefacts such as systems requirements, solutions design and security & privacy reviews along with testing of solutions including Disaster Recovery Plans.

Role Responsibilities
• Technical Configuration/Customization: Work with third party solutions providers, developers and Haleon Core Technology/Platforms to conduct technical configuration/customization of solutions that meet our customers needs and provides a great user experience 

• Data Protection: Develop a sound knowledge of Haleon policies and processes regarding protection of sensitive data

• Governance & Product Assessment: Take part in technical governance and oversight of product development across a product domain. Support the Integration Architect in the assessment of technology solutions

• Product Domain: Understand the product domains from a technology perspective but also understand how the technology adds value

• Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, SOX and that Technical continuity plans are in place and tested in line with Haleon policies for all business-critical products 

• Change & Release management: Manage change activity, including SaaS delivered changes, into the Production service in a compliant and efficient manner

• Integrations: Ensure data passing from upstream systems or providers (i.e. Workday, Manufacturing Systems, Banks/Financial Institutions, Trading Partners) or to downstream systems (i.e. SAP) using various B2B Standards (EDI, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, ANSI-X12, SWIFT, etc) through integrations that is efficient, accurate and secure. This also includes building reporting capabilities that support both operational performance reporting as well as analytic reporting.

• Process Improvement: Drive ongoing product and technical improvements, including automation opportunities, adopting a mixture of delivery methodologies where appropriate – but focusing on Value to the customers.

• Technical Product Deliverables: Ensuring completion and currency of technical deliverables as outlined by Product Owner and ensuring technical aspects of all documentation are appropriately covered.

• Operational Support: Work on L2, L3 support tickets as required and escalations providing resolution to break-fix issues, and deployment of operational changes. Act as point of expertise and escalation to 3rd party vendor support teams. Own the Problem Management function, driving the 100% target for understanding and eradicating root cause of all issues. Demonstrate an ability to resolve complex issues. Manage user relationships with customers and peers. Proactively seek ways to operate more efficiently as a support service and reduce the volume of support work, identifying opportunities and proposing improvements. 


Why you?

Basic Qualifications:


• Technical Degree eg. Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science with minimum 12 years relevant (e.g. Consumer Goods/Healthcare, Pharma regulated) experience in major global Tech organization
• Track record in successful technical support, development, programme and product delivery
• Experience in a business critical Technical Service delivery role 
• Experience of working with third parties in the delivery of working products
• Excellent relationship management, strong communication skills
• Deep content knowledge of respective functional area (business operating models, processes & products)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in IBM integration technologies 
• Experience of Cloud, particularly Azure, hosting platforms
• Managed a Service Delivery team following ITIL principles and vendor management capabilities
• Experience in the full project lifecycle of interface implementations, including delivery of business Interfaces 
• Understanding of ITIL processes for service management
• Strong communication skills with peers and at varying levels of Management and Business Stakeholders 
• Strong Team Leadership Skills
