Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the International financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Manage the estimation and consolidation process for International operations, including revenue recognition, expense accruals, and other accounting estimates.
- Coordinate with regional finance teams to gather and consolidate financial data, ensuring alignment with corporate accounting policies and standards.
- Review and analyze financial results and estimates, variances, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Provide guidance and support to regional finance teams on accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and internal control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and corporate finance to ensure alignment of financial reporting and forecasting activities.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the closing and estimation function, leveraging technology and automation where applicable.
- Stay current on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and assess their impact on International financial reporting and estimation practices.
- Lead special projects and initiatives contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 4 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field, including FP&A
• Thorough understanding of international accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of leading financial closing processes and estimation activities in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data to drive strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve results.
• Proficiency in financial systems and software applications, such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives
