The IT Administration Associate manages end-user devices and internal IT infrastructure, providing support, maintaining asset inventory, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
We are seeking an IT Administrator to manage end-user devices, internal IT infrastructure, and security tools at Maxwell. This role involves laptop and peripheral provisioning, remote and on-site IT support to employees, IT asset tracking, and coordination with vendors, along with managing basic network and security configurations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and able to communicate effectively in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
Requirements
Asset & Device Management
- Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and peripherals (monitors, docks, headsets, etc.)
- Install, update, and troubleshoot Windows & Linux operating systems.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and handle device assignment/return.
Employee IT Support
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with user onboarding/offboarding (account setup, access rights, email, etc.).
- Support basic network troubleshooting within office premises.
Security & Systems Management
- Manage Firewall rules, MDM / endpoint security systems, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) tools.
- Monitor system alerts, escalate incidents, and support internal security compliance.
Vendor & Coordination
- Coordinate with local vendors for hardware procurement, servicing, and AMC.
- Manage repairs, warranty claims, and ensure timely follow-up.
Documentation
- Maintain SOP documentation for IT processes.
- Log incidents, asset assignments, and maintain clear support records.
Must-Have-Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in IT Support / IT Administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and basic Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with laptops/peripheral troubleshooting and networking basics.
- Google Workspace (GWS) admin skills — user provisioning, groups, access policies.
- Experience managing Firewall / MDM / Endpoint Security / ZTNA tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users.
- Language: Fluent in English conversational in Hindi/Kannada.
Nice-to-have-Requirements
- Basic scripting abilities (PowerShell or Bash).
- Familiarity with ISO27001 or other IT security compliance environments.
- Experience documenting SOPs or IT workflows.
- Ability to independently manage vendor follow-ups and negotiations.
